TYSONS CORNER, VA, December 28, 2020 — Amentum has secured a five-year, $88M contract from the Department of Defense to provide the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane Division with services in support of the development and sustainment of maritime electro-optic infrared systems, GovCon Wire reported Dec. 16.
The company will conduct research, development, test and evaluation activities for NSWC Crane's EO Technology Division, as well as provide lifecycle services for maritime EO/IR and related technologies through the company's model-based systems engineering laboratory and collaboration center in Indiana.
