A Government Business Council survey sponsored by Cisco has found that 58 percent of federal defense agency employees said they think agencies should consider cloud security as the top priority as they advance cloud adoption.

GBC polled 116 defense civilian employees and active duty personnel at the Department of Defense in June and found that 63 percent of respondents said they believe cloud should attract more or much more support from their agencies.

The survey also showed that 35 percent of DoD respondents are very or extremely confident that their agencies will pursue large-scale cloud adoption initiatives in the coming years.
