Counter-drone technology maker Fortem Technologies has created a government advisory board with nine senior leaders from the defense, intelligence, federal and private sectors.
Fortem said Tuesday the advisory board will help inform the company’s efforts to drive opportunities and meet mission goals for the U.S. government and its partners.
“The security of our venues, campuses, military bases, and cities is key to supporting a bright future in a world of autonomous robots,†said Fortem CEO Timothy Bean.
Headquartered in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Fortem offers anti-unmanned aerial systems technologies such as the artificial intelligence-based UAS interceptor DroneHunter, the TrueView radar and the SkyDome Manager threat detection platform.
The company’s technologies have been used for applications such as airport security, oil refinery operations, stadium security and data centers.

- Kevin Meiners, former deputy director of national intelligence for enterprise capacity
- Lynn Wright, former deputy director of naval intelligence
- Terry Ryan, former CEO of Tenax Aerospace,
- Rose Mooney, technical and Federal Aviation Administration policy expert
- Gene Colabatistto, CEO of General Aerospace Company
- Maryam Rhamni, board member of the Society of High-Performance Computing Professionals
- Marshall Wright, former official at Utah Governor's Office for Economic Development
- David Redl, former director of National Telecommunications and Information Administration
