Ken Asbury, former president and CEO of CACI International and a six-time Wash100 Award recipient, has been named to the board of directors at Houston-based seismic data provider Geospace Technologies, effective Dec. 1.
The more than three-decade industry veteran previously served as president and CEO at ASRC Federal and oversaw three business units while at Lockheed Martin, Geospace said Tuesday.
A University of Oklahoma graduate, Asbury also worked as a translator/interpreter for the U.S. Army Security Agency.
Geospace also appointed Margaret Sidney Ashworth, former vice president of government relations at Northrop Grumman, to serve as a board member starting next month.
She previously led Washington operations of General Electric’s aviation subsidiary as a VP, worked on the Senate Appropriations Committee for 14 years and contributed civilian service to the Department of the Army.
As Geospace directors, Asbury and Ashworth will support the company’s efforts to grow its monitoring technology offerings in the government sector’s security and surveillance segments.
