DLT Solutions, a Tech Data subsidiary, will distribute IBM-made cloud and software technologies across the U.S. public sector under a new partnership.
DLT said Thursday it will offer IBM's hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other types of software through the Cloud Navigator Program that extends reach across the company's partner network and boosts visibility of cloud investments.
Chris Wilkinson, president of DLT Solutions, said the inclusion of hybrid cloud, AI, security and software offerings of IBM to the initiative enables DLT to further help channel partners working to assist agencies in pursuing digital transformation.
IBM Cloud Paks, which are software suites designed to facilitate workflow implementation, would enable DLT channel partners to provide cloud security to government customers.
Organizations may use IBM Cloud Paks to manage applications in multiple cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
"This collaboration with Tech Data and DLT will expand our platforms' footprint further into the partner ecosystem and with clients in the U.S. government and education markets," said Jay Bellissimo, general manager for the U.S. public and federal market at IBM.
