TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 2, 2020 — Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) is scheduled to implement two lines of business on Oct. 31 that will be led by current Executive Vice Presidents Michael LaRouche and Bob Genter, GovCon Wire reported Sept. 18.
SAIC said Sept. 17 LaRouche will lead its national security and space segment while Genter will manage its defense and civilian sector as a result of the company's reorganization effort and following the announcement of Jim Scanlon's retirement as head of the existing defense systems group by the end of its 2021 fiscal year.
“With Jim’s retirement, we reevaluated our organizational structure, as we always look to best align with our business strategy and growth priorities," said Nazzic Keene, SAIC CEO and a three-time Wash100 Award recipient.
