The General Services Administration is looking for potential sources of commercial technologies that can process inquiries from federal agencies and the public regarding programs and policies.

GSA released the solicitation on Monday on the beta SAM website as part of its market research effort on customer-service management systems and related technical assistance.

According to the request for information, GSA’s Office of Governmentwide Policy plans to deploy a tool that will route and resolve queries on policy updates in areas such as acquisition management, information technology, regulatory procedures, real property assets, mail and travel.

The tool must be web-based and feature a user-centric design to simplify the collation of customer feedback, the notice states.

Specifically, OGP is interested in real-time analysis approaches and inquiry processing methods that require minimal staff intervention.

Responses to the RFI are due on Nov. 2.
