AT&T and Cisco will collaborate to help enterprise customers manage connected devices across a network as part of an extended partnership between the two companies.
The Control Center offering seeks to increase an organization's visibility into internet of things platforms being used in various sectors such as public safety, manufacturing, health care and transportation industries, AT&T said Friday.
The managed service is intended to also support data usage anomaly detection, security risk mitigation and traffic classification tasks.
Both firms have collaborated over the past decade to facilitate IoT connectivity for customers worldwide through the AT&T Global SIM platform, the telecommunication company noted.
The partnership is also developing technologies to support 5G and low-power wide-area networking services.
