Mercury Systems has released a suite of compact and rugged microwave tuners built to support data processing in tactical missions.

The TAC-3290 series features an architecture designed to facilitate digitizer compatibility and works to help frequency converters receive various signals in real time, Mercury said Wednesday.

The company designed its technology for mission applications such as signals intelligence and radio frequency tests.

"By replacing racks of application-specific equipment with a flexible solution small enough to fit in a backpack, the TAC-3290 delivers agile RF capabilities to signal capture and processing systems in the field," said Neal Austin, vice president and general manager of Mercury's mixed signal business.
