Laura Boufford, former regional vice president of aerospace sales at Salesforce, has been named director of federal civilian sales at Google, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Monday.
Her technology industry experience encompasses the areas of cloud computing, enterprise information technology and software as a service.
Boufford previously spent more than a decade at Oracle, where she initially led regional enterprise application sales for the Department of Defense market and later took on a senior position focused on cloud and SaaS.
She served as sales director for Sybase's DoD and intelligence business earlier in her career.
Google unveiled a private beta version of its Assured Workloads for Government service in July as part of efforts to help customer agencies manage controlled environments for cloud data.
