Blue Origin posted a job vacancy for an Orbital Habitat Formulation Lead to oversee the development of commercial space stations in low-Earth orbit, SpaceNews reported Tuesday.
The formulation lead will be responsible for the development of technical concepts, business cases and product strategies, lead potential acquisitions to support an orbital habitat product strategy and collaborate with business development professionals to understand the needs of NASA, other federal agencies and commercial entities.Â
The selected candidate will be based at the company’s headquarters in Kent, Washington, and will advance technical and market innovations and foster partnerships with aerospace companies and novel collaborators.
“You will be accountable for capturing external and internal sponsorship funding to establish viable LEO destination systems in the 2020s,†according to the job description.
