Edward Rothstein, a retired U.S. Army colonel and former garrison commander at Fort Meade in Maryland, has been named strategic adviser of Catonsville, Maryland-based information technology consulting firm Sparksoft.
The three-decade military veteran will focus on Department of Defense business development and tactical affairs matters within Sparksoft's cyber defense and health information technology areas, the company said Wednesday.
“I am very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to assisting Sparksoft in expanding their federal footprint,†Rothstein noted.
His career also includes time as president of ERA Advisory, senior adviser of cybersecurity at BayBank and president and CEO of Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp.
