Trace Systems has received a $77.6M task order to help the U.S. Air Force consolidate multiple network enclaves and support tools into a data sharing environment for the military and mission partners.
The company said Friday it will engineer an information technology network and applications, develop software and provide technical services for the SABRE mission enclave in support of the Department of Defense's Mission Partner Environment.
The Defense Information Systems Agency awarded Trace a potential five-year, $998M contract in September 2019 to help build, implement and manage the MPE infrastructure.
Under the task order, the company will also configure, integrate and test service battle laboratories, as well as support a test environment prior to the transition to virtual data centers.
The IT firm will also help USAF set requirements for the fusion of mission partner, command-and-control and intelligence data sharing tools.
