Reggie Brothers, CEO of NuWave Solutions, said the company primarily focuses on intelligence and defense markets with plans to expand its artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and data management work in federal civilian and commercial sectors, Inside Defense reported Thursday.
He told the publication in an interview that NuWave expects to bring its technology platforms to energy and health care markets, which he considers as "areas where there's a lot of data and where there's really a need to predict what could happen.â€
AE Industrial Partners acquired a majority stake in NuWave in June and Brothers said that ownership provides the latter company resources to advance internal research and explore acquisition opportunities.
As part of the transaction, Brothers joined NuWave from Peraton, where he served as chief technology officer. He previously served as deputy assistant secretary for research at the Department of Defense and undersecretary of science and technology at the Department of Homeland Security.
