The Defense Information Systems Agency has announced that the Systems Engineering, Technology and Innovation multiple-award contract can now be used by DISA and other agencies within the Department of Defense.
SETI is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that also covers design analysis engineering, system architecture, software systems design, systems integration, system deployment and lifecycle engineering, system test and evaluation and special systems engineering requirements, including cloud, cybersecurity, spectrum, satellite, network and mobility, DISA said Tuesday.
The IDIQ contract consists of small business and full-and-open tracks. DISA awarded 14 companies spots on SETI’s unrestricted portion in 2018 and 23 positions on the small business track last year.
“SETI is a flagship contract for DISA, available for use across DoD, to deliver innovative, cutting-edge technologies to our warfighters in a timely manner through flexible acquisition methodologies,†said Douglas Packard, procurement services executive at DISA. “DoD officials have lauded the new and unique approach of SETI to incorporate innovation thematically into the requirements development and evaluations processes.â€
