The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center has issued a request for information on potential sources of cyber services and operational technologies to support the center’s research and development activities.
AFLCMC said in the RFI notice posted Tuesday on the beta SAM website that its Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division seeks to leverage commercially available technologies to support offensive and defensive cyberspace operations involving assets like industrial control systems, internet of things networks and other information technology subsystems.
The potential contractor is expected to provide hardware, software, technical documentation, training materials and full lifecycle support for IT systems as part of the effort.
AFLCMC noted that contract services will primarily focus on engineering analysis and OT research procedures including design, development, test, delivery and integration of cyber systems.
The contractor will additionally coordinate with other DoD and non-DoD agencies at various locations under the agreement, according to the notice.
Interested parties must submit responses to the RFI through Aug. 31.
