ViON has expanded its enterprise cloud portfolio with the launch of three cloud service offerings.
Object Storage as-a-Service, Archive as-a-Service and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure as-a-Service are pre-defined private cloud platforms under the ViON Enterprise Cloud portfolio, the company said Thursday.
Tom Frana, chairman and CEO of ViON and a two-time Wash100 awardee, said the company’s OSaaS, AaaS and HCIaaS offerings seek to provide customers flexibility in meeting their information technology modernization objectives by allowing them to retain control of their data on premises.
OSaaS provides three classes of service to help clients meet their typical workload requirements, while AaaS offers a single-site storage offering and a modular tape library to help customers support their long-term data retention needs. HCIaaS is designed to help users meet their requirements for artificial intelligence, DevOps and machine learning environments by providing five classes of service.
