Techstars has selected 10 companies for a virtual startup accelerator program focused on developing space technologies in areas such as geospatial intelligence, satellite servicing and space-based situational awareness.
The Techstars Allied Space Accelerator class of 2020 includes companies from the U.S., U.K., Germany, Norway and the Netherlands that will participate in networking activities with investors as well as industry experts, Techstars said Monday.
A Demo Day will take place on Sept. 16 and serve as the culminating event for the program’s inaugural class.
Techstars launched the accelerator effort in partnership with the U.S. Air Force, Norwegian Space Agency and the respective ministries of defense of Norway and the Netherlands.
