Systems Engineering Associates Corp. has won a five-year, $26.6M contract from the U.S. Navy to build, update and implement a tools for analyzing test data in extensible markup language formats.
SEA Corp. initially developed the XML Test Data Analysis Tool — also known as XTDAS — through the Small Business Innovative Research program, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Navy awarded the SBIR Phase III contract based on previous contractor performance and in accordance with the Small Business Administration's policy directive.
XTDAS is designed for installation on currently deployed submarines.
The branch will obligate nearly $315K at the time of award from its fiscal 2020 shipbuilding and conversion funds.
Middletown, R.I-based SEA Corp. offers program management, product development and software and hardware engineering services to the Navy.
