Bruce Grooms, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral with 35 years of military experience, has joined data analytics company Peaxy as a special adviser.
He most recently served as vice president of business development for Navy and Marine Corps programs at Raytheon Technologies, Peaxy said Monday.
His military career included time as vice director of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, commander of Submarine Group Two and deputy chief of staff for capability development under NATO's Allied Command Transformation.
Grooms also served as a Stanford University national security fellow.
San Jose, Calif.-based Peaxy offers predictive analytics technology for industrial and defense applications.
