Raytheon Technologies' intelligence and space business has received a $30M contract to help the Army National Guard train brigade combat team members.
The company said Wednesday its subject matter experts will support planning and implementation of events for the military reserve component's Exportable Combat Training Capability program.
Each XCTC rotation will last for two weeks and feature sensors designed to determine locations, engagements and movements of soldiers. Work will run through October across five rotations.
Commanders can then review data from the sensors with videos to document lessons learned during the training sessions.
"We deliver everything soldiers need for realistic training – battlefield effects, role-players and sensors to track the action," said Bob Williams, vice president of global training solutions at Raytheon Intelligence and Space.
The company has supported 19 BCT training rotations through the XCTC program over the past four years and will facilitate an additional five rotations until October.
