Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Perspecta, has been named as the next chairman of the Chantilly, Va.-based company’s board of directors. His appointment is effective Aug. 5 and he succeeds the retiring Mike Lawrie, who has held the board chairman position over the past two years, Perspecta said Wednesday.
Curtis, a six-time Wash100 Award recipient, said Lawrie helped drive the company’s integration and growth efforts in the government services market through his perspective and experience.
“I look forward to working with the board as we continue to effectively execute our strategy and grow the business while driving value for employees, customers and shareholders,” he added.
Perspecta recently marked its second anniversary as an independent company that was formed through the merger of Vencore, KeyPoint Government Solutions and the public sector business of DXC Technology.
