The General Services Administration has started to seek information on potential sources of a Common Operating Platform that could help GSA automate crisis and emergency management tasks and manage exercise and training requirements.
A request for information posted Wednesday says GSA’s office of mission assurance is seeking a contractor with experience in applications or systems development and could provide systems security, operations and maintenance services to support the proposed platform.
The agency wants to have an intuitive platform that is certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and provides integrated single sign-on with multifactor authentication and seamless data integration. The tool should be scalable to meet government requirements and leverage industry capabilities to process emergency and crisis management tasks.
Responses to the RFI are due July 13. GSA will accept questions on the RFI by Wednesday, June 24, and respond to those queries by July 1.
