ECS will develop a cloud-based technology prototype to support data consolidation efforts at the Defense Health Agency as part of an other transaction agreement with the U.S. Navy's Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic.
An archive will be created to help DHA merge information from multiple clinical information technology systems the Military Health System's Genesis electronic health record platform will replace, ECS said Monday.
George Wilson, president of ECS and 2020 Wash100 winner, said the company will support NIWC and DHA in efforts to manage continuity of care with technology.
The company aims to build a patient-centric system for the agency by working with clinical partners across all phases of the prototyping project.
