Buchanan & Edwards will provide data governance training and certification support services for the U.S. Air Force’s data professionals under a blanket purchase agreement.
“It is an honor to be able to support the USAF with training that will further enhance its ability to treat its data as the critical organizational asset it is,†Eric Olson, CEO of Buchanan & Edwards, said in a statement published Monday.
The BPA awarded by the service’s office of Chief Data Officer Eileen Vidrine covers support for the USAF Data Governance Training initiative, which seeks to prepare the branch’s data stewards for the Public Sector Data Governance Professional certification of the Institute for the Certification of Computing Professionals.
The company’s R2C subsidiary teamed up with the ICCP to offer data governance training and certification in support of public sector organizations.
