Richard Kaiser, a retired U.S. Army major general with 33 years of military experience, has joined engineering company Black & Veatch as federal growth officer.
He will be part of a business group that offers design-build, construction, master planning, security, civil work and facility support services to the federal market, the company said Monday.
Randy Castro, president of Black & Veatch’s federal unit, said Kaiser brings institutional and technical knowledge as the company aims to create value for government customers and help them implement technology platforms.
Kaiser previously supervised 36K personnel and a construction portfolio worth $46B as deputy chief of engineers at the Army Corps of Engineers. He also commanded USACE's Mississippi Valley and Great Lakes/Ohio River divisions.
