Perspecta has secured a four-year, $29.9M contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to research hardware components.
The Fast Network Interface Cards effort seeks to develop, incorporate, implement and assess novel clean-slate network subsystems to optimize various applications by a factor of 100, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
DARPA received eight bids for the competitively offered contract and obligated a total of $4M in fiscal years 2019 and 2020 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
Contract work is slated to run through May 2024 and will occur in Basking Ridge, N.J.
