The U.S. Navy asks industry to submit information on approaches to streamline information technology activities via modern methods.

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command wants to simplify IT administrator work and reduce manual workloads by automating applicable activities, the Navy said Tuesday in a SAM notice.

SPAWAR intends to use artificial intelligence, smart searching, machine learning, expert systems and other modern automation methods in pursuit of this goal.

Interested parties may submit the requested input through June 1. The Navy will use gathered input to form a procurement strategy for the effort.
