ERAPSCO, a joint venture between Ultra Electronics and Sparton, has received a $204.6M delivery order to manufacture underwater sonar systems for the U.S. Navy.
The Ultra Electronics USSI and Sparton businesses will receive sonobuoy production subcontracts amounting to $101.7M and $102.9M, respectively, as part of a GFY2020 indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, Ultra said Tuesday.
Work will take place at manufacturing facilities in Columbia City, Ind., and DeLeon Springs, Fla., through March 2022.
Simon Pryce, CEO of Ultra Electronics, said the award underscores the venture's efforts to deliver technology platforms to support the Navy's anti-submarine warfare mission.
