DarwinAI, a Canada-based company, has engaged in an effort to help Lockheed Martin better understand the function of artificial intelligence and neural networks.
DarwinAI said Wednesday it will offer the Explainable AI platform to illustrate how complex neural networks make decisions through a process modeled after the human brain.
The platform also produces insight that may accelerate the creation of AI models. DarwinAI's GenSynth Explain technology powers Explainable AI.
“Understanding how a neural network makes its decisions is important in constructing robust AI solutions that our customers can trust,†said Lee Ritholtz, director and chief architect of applied AI at Lockheed.
