Concurrent Technologies Corp. has secured a 10-month, $7.8M contract modification to help the U.S. Marine Corps meet energy security needs.

The modification provides for expertise and tools needed to identify project requirements, CTC said Tuesday. The effort aims to align policy and programs with goals and requirements imposed by the Department of Defense and Congress.

The modification stems from the second option year of a task order awarded in 2018 and raises the original order’s value to $20.2M. Work will continue through March 2021.

CTC serves as the effort’s prime contractor and leads a team of five subcontractors. The General Services Administration launched a competition for the original task order under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services vehicle.

“CTC is proud to continue providing critical energy and utilities program support to the Marine Corps,” said Ed Sheehan, president and CEO at CTC.
