Citadel Defense has launched a software offering designed to help military customers avoid adversarial attempts to spoof counter-unmanned aerial system platforms and enter protected airspace.
The company said Tuesday its technology uses neural networks to detect and determine whether a signal comes from a UAS or a source producing fake signals.
The software is built on image generation algorithms, artificial intelligence and the Titan counter-drone platform.
"Adding new deep learning capabilities to Titan helps blind the drone-equipped enemy and deny them any advantage or safe haven in contested and complex radiofrequency environments," said Christopher Williams, CEO of Citadel Defense.
Citadel developed its technology offerings to help military personnel keep up with the growing use of unmanned robots on the battlefield.
