Mission Technologies has secured a potential five-year, $38M contract to help NASA ensure facility and occupational safety at the space agency’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va.
The Cleveland-based company will continue to support the Langley center operations directorate and safety and mission assurance office through the Facility Assurance, Inspection, Monitoring and Occupational Safety contract II contract, NASA said Saturday.
The performance period is scheduled to commence on May 1 and would extend by four years if the agency exercises all the options.
NASA added the company will help Langley COD inspect and manage construction projects, monitor facilities, analyze materials and maintain industrial hygiene.
Mission Technologies performed similar work under a $48.3M initial cost-plus-fixed-fee contract awarded in 2014.
