GitLab, which offers a single application to help software developers, has launched a program to collaborate with other technology providers and increase customer access to DevOps tools.
The GitLab Partner Program is meant to guide organizations through the DevOps transformation process and offers support across the open, select and technology tracks, the company said Tuesday,
Resellers and other participants in the open track may receive incentives or benefits such as referral fees and product discounts for finding new customers and driving the adoption of GitLab products and services.
Select track members can form strategic relationships with GitLab and help increase the company’s product recurring revenues by providing services through their GitLab Practice. Software vendors that opt for the technology track will integrate cloud systems and other technology into GitLab offerings.
“As businesses evolve their DevOps practices with a maturing lifecycle, we want to create an ecosystem of partners that can work together to create greater value for the customer,†said Michelle Hodges, vice president of global channels at GitLab.
Carahsoft acts as GitLab’s master distributor in the government sector.
