1901 Group has secured a subcontract of an undisclosed value from Science Applications International Corp. to migrate the U.S. Army’s information technology infrastructure and enterprise applications to the cloud.
1901 said Thursday it will utilize its cloud factory team to provide expertise in the migration of the service branch’s enterprise tools.
SAIC received a potential three-year, $41M contract to assess and modernize 89 Army human resource applications.
Bob Beck, senior director of business development at 1901 Group, said the firm will employ a hybrid cloud infrastructure to move legacy platforms and enable access of information for warfighters and their families.
