Science Applications International Corp. has secured a three-year, $45.2M contract to continue the provision of support services for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps’ tactical warfare training activities.

SAIC said Monday it will employ its technical capabilities to support Carrier Strike Group 15, Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific, Tactical Training Group Pacific and Tactical Training Group Detachment under the contract.

The company has tapped American Systems, Prairie Quest and Stellar Peak to assist in the performance of contract work.

“We want today’s Navy and Marine Corps forces to be as mission-ready as possible, and this program enables that preparation,” said Jim Scanlon, executive vice president and general manager at SAIC’s defense systems customer group.

SAIC currently provides tactical instructions, practices and wargaming support services to the Navy and Marine Corps through the Live, Virtual, Constructive Training and Fleet Synthetic Training systems.
