Physical Optics Corp. has incorporated Ansys’ simulation software offerings into its avionics technology development in a bid to speed up certification processes and mitigate development time.

Ansys said Monday its SCADE Solutions for ARINC 661 Applications suite is intended to allow users to rapidly build and certify avionics software through automatic qualified code generation and a model-based software development approach.

The tool also aims to help customers expedite capability integration and comply with DO-178C, ARINC 661 and Future Airborne Capability Environment technical requirements.

Omar Facory, vice president at POC's mission systems business, said Ansys SCADE 661 helps drive interoperability and reusability.

California-based POC offers internal testing, systems engineering, quality inspection and project management services.
