Enview has received a contract through the U.S. Air Force’s AFVentures Strategic Financing program to expand its offerings for the service branch and the Department of Defense.
The company said Thursday it underwent a three-phase downselection process from USAF to secure the award.
Enview developed an offering that equips warfighters with optimized mission readiness and decision-making capabilities through the decentralization of geospatial functions at the tactical level.
The firm has also fielded a geospatial artificial intelligence tool that works to perform automated 3D mapping of buildings, vegetation, infrastructure, route planning, change detection, line-of-sight and terrain.
“If we’re not working with the best innovators in the world, then we will lose the technology advantage that we have. Getting this right is not just innovation, it is imperative,†said Will Roper, assistant Air Force secretary for acquisition, technology and logistics and a 2020 Wash100 winner.
