Cherokee Nation Businesses’ portfolio of government contracting and professional services companies has adopted the name Cherokee Federal.
“Throughout the past decade, we’ve had the honor and opportunity to work with many outstanding federal partners,†Steven Bilby, president of Cherokee Federal, said in a statement published Monday. “In an effort to better align our current and future endeavors with our esteemed government customers, I am pleased to announce Cherokee Federal as our new brand.â€
Cherokee Federal oversees nearly 1K projects for more than 60 government agencies in mission support, information technology, manufacturing and health sectors.
CNB’s group of GovCon and professional services firms has recorded more than $5B in contract awards since 2012, accounting for approximately 42 percent of CNB’s total revenue. The rebranding effort covers over 3K employees and more than 30 of CNB’s subsidiaries.
CNB is the Cherokee Nation’s economic engine and owns companies in IT, health sciences, consulting, technology, construction, manufacturing, engineering, environmental services, consulting, real estate, cultural tourism, hospitality and gaming industries.
