Appian and Deloitte have partnered to update mission systems employed by clients from the commercial and government sectors.
The two entities will use low-code development and intelligent automation technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotic process automation to help customers modernize their platforms as part of the partnership, Appian said Tuesday.
The partnership will also seek to speed up modernization processes to help clients revise business workflow through the Appian Solutions Incubator, a tool designed to create application templates, accelerators and reusable offerings.
“Together, we are working with some of the largest federal agencies to transform their automation strategies and create more agile processes,†said Kerri Maloney, lead alliance partner at Deloitte’s government and public services segment.
The two firms have teamed up with the Food and Drug Administration to update legacy systems and implement RPA-based technologies. The FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research has also tapped Appian to assist in modernization efforts.
