U.S. Air Force innovation program AFWERX is slated to hold a competition that will seek to develop integrated space operations and maintain space resiliency and security.
According to a SAM notice posted Monday, the AFWERX Space Challenge will feature four challenges in various areas such as global space transport, space asset resiliency, commercial space partnerships with the Department of Defense and persistent intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capacities.
Selected participants may receive opportunities to work with government agencies and the industry, secure funding for rapid prototyping efforts and attend the challenge showcase to link up with potential investors and customers.
Interested vendors have until May 3 to submit their applications to the competition.
AFWERX will provide feedback to all applicants through email by May 19, while showcase events for the competition will take place from June 23 through 25.
