AECOM’s technical services business has received a four-year, $75M contract for the provision of engineering and architectural services to the U.S. Navy.
The contractor will also carry out design projects for various facilities such as community buildings, airfield facilities, base housing, water treatment systems and recreational areas as part of the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The U.S. Marine Corps and the Navy will prepare for facility planning and environmental documentation efforts within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe, Africa, Central’s area of operations through the contract.
NAVFAC EURAFCENT received five bids for the competitively offered contract and the Navy will provide funding from fiscal year 2020 operations and maintenance funds.
Contract work is scheduled to conclude by February 2024 and will occur in various locations.
