Jennifer Stone, former senior manager of defense and veterans health strategy at Accenture's federal services business, has been named vice president of growth for veterans and defense health at GovernmentCIO.
At Accenture, she established technology development partnerships that sought to help military personnel and their familiy members manage health outcomes, GovernmentCIO said Tuesday.
Stone previously served as client executive for veterans affairs at Gartner and principal consultant for health care at Ricoh. She also spent five years at IBM in various roles and worked as an analyst at Vangent and the Defense Health Agency.
She began her career in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman focused on efforts to help Naval personnel, Marines and their families prevent or treat disease and injury.
