1901 Group has landed a potential five-and-a-half-year, $6.1M task order from the Federal Trade Commission through the Information Technology Support Service blank purchase agreement to help update the agency’s business applications through the implementation of a low-code, cloud-based offering.
Scope of work will cover the provision of application development, security engineering, level architecture design and subject matter expertise, the company said Thursday.
The firm will also perform application cutover, configuration, maintenance and operation services to support the business apps’ transition to the cloud.
James Christopher, executive vice president of operations and engineering at 1901 Group, said the company's offering will utilize the ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure cloud environments to assist FTC in achieving its needs.
Aside from 1901 Group, three other firms have received BPAs from FTC to carry out IT support activities.
