Patrick Gerdes, formerly a portfolio director at Mitre’s Center for Veterans Experience Transformation, has joined NewWave Telecom & Technologies as senior vice president of operations, FedHealthIT reported Friday.
In his previous capacity, he led the establishment of a portfolio strategy to implement the federally funded research and development center’s efforts to support the Department of Veterans Affairs mission.
Gerdes also held the positions of senior manager, account leader and portfolio manager at Noblis.
His industry career also includes various roles at iGate, NOLA Computer Services, Science & Engineering Associates, Apogen Technologies, Entergy and Hughes Aircraft.
NewWave is headquartered in Elkridge, Md., and offers big data analytics, software development, systems integration, cognitive computing, knowledge engineering and modernization services.
