A cloud computing product designed by Palo Alto Networks has secured an “In Process†designation under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
The designation represents Palo Alto’s ongoing application for a FedRAMP Moderate Agency authorization for the Prisma Cloud offering, the company said Monday.
The firm has also added Prisma Cloud to its Government Cloud Services portfolio as part of efforts to help government agencies transition to the cloud.
Nick Urick, vice president of federal sales and president of Palo Alto’s public sector segment, said the move reflects the company’s commitment to offering cloud-native security features to government customers.
