NewWave Telecom and Technologies has integrated Looker’s data platform into Microsoft Azure’s government-tailored cloud platform.
Looker said Tuesday its data platform will help the federal government boost the analytical transparency of health care services and prompt doctors to comply with treatment baselines.
The platform offers visuals and monitoring to help care providers understand the metrics of different diagnoses as well as the progress of patients over treatment phases.
“Looker frees the data to provide a governed self-service data model for doctors to drill into specific events to see what is triggering cost,†said Aaron Seib, senior vice president of informatics at NewWave.
The company used a modeling engine that organizes the complex traits of different diagnoses with baseline metrics.
The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services will roll out the Looker platform in the next six months.
