Lockheed Martin has recognized Cobham“™s advanced electronic solutions business as a supplier of cables and other radio frequency interconnect platforms in support of development work on NASA“™s Orion spacecraft.
Lockheed visited Cobham“™s facility in Exeter, N.H., to extend its appreciation to employees for their involvement in the mission, Cobham said Wednesday.
“It“™s important to come to the locations where critical parts are being built and tell these employees first-hand, “˜thank you“™ and share with them the exciting activities around Orion and also for Artemis, NASA“™s effort to work and live on the Moon,“ said Larry Price, Orion deputy program manager at Lockheed“™s space business.
Lockheed serves as the prime contractor for the Orion spacecraft, which is designed to transport astronauts to the lunar surface as part of the Artemis program.
