Jacobs has secured a potential $418.9M contract to perform base support work for certain U.S. Navy sites in the state of Washington.
The company will provide general information, address emergencies, manage facilities, perform environmental services and transport wastewater under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The contract has a base period valued at $52.3M and seven options that may extend work through May 2028 if fully exercised.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command launched an online competition for the contract and received seven proposals.
The Navy will use $29.2M in fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance funds to finance a task order within the base period.
Work will mainly take place in Washington’s Kitsap county with a small percentage in Jefferson county.
