Brian Mihelich, former executive at Swedish telecommunications firm Ericsson, has joined COMSovereign Holding to serve as chief financial officer.

He brings experience in management and finance, having held leadership roles in support of various firms such as AT&T, Google, Facebook and Vodafone, COMSovereign Holding said Wednesday.

The executive managed a Vodafone-focused service account during his time with Ericsson. His career also includes public sector contributions to the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mihelich succeeds Kendall Carpenter who will continue to oversee the financial activities of COMSovereign’s drone aviation business.

The company also appointed Kevin Sherlock, a former law firm partner, to serve as general counsel and secretary. Sherlock is a licensed lawyer who holds expertise in security clearance, business litigation and securities arbitration.

COMSovereign Holding offers a range of communications technologies including 5G connectivity. The company resulted from a merger between Drone Aviation and business consortium ComSovereign.
